Yes you can arrive by helicopter. Please email our team for details on our preferred helicopter transfer service and/or instructions to provide to your pilot.
The Royal Mail Hotel generally operates Wednesday to Saturday. Reception is open for check outs on Sunday mornings. Accommodation with self check-in/out is available Sunday – Tuesday.
Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel is open for Lunch on Saturday and Dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Saturday dinner excludes June – Sept/Saturday lunch excludes May).
Parker St Project is open for Dinner Wednesday to Saturday and Lunch Thursday to Saturday.

Additional opening dates usually include the Christmas and New Year’s Eve period and public holidays such as Australia Day, Easter, ANZAC Day, Kings Birthday.

Yes, if you are staying in one of our Deluxe Mount Sturgeon One Bedroom Cottages, Mount Sturgeon Homestead or standard One or Two Bedroom cottages you can arrange a complimentary transfer to and from your dining experiences at Royal Mail Hotel during your stay. Our team will provide you with pick-up times on check-in.
Check-in time is 3pm. On Wednesday’s we can often accommodate an early check-in subject to availability. If you plan on arriving earlier please let our team know and we will do our best to get your room ready as priority however this is not guaranteed.
Check out time is 11 am. Late check-out is available on request at the rate of $20 per hour. A late self check out on Sundays is available until 2pm, at rate of $50.
