What is the best way to book a table at Wickens?

The best way to book a table at Wickens is online.

If you are staying elsewhere please note rreservation availability for Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel opens for external diners two months in advance on a rolling release every day.

If you are staying with Royal Mail Hotel please use the exclusive dining reservations link at the time of booking or in your accommodation confirmation email for personalised table availability up to six months in advance.

To enquire about a reservation further in advance or to place yourself on the ‘waitlist’ for a specific date please search for your preferred date and time and then click the ‘Submit a request’ here.

What days of the week are you open?

The Royal Mail Hotel operates Wednesday to Saturday.

Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel is open for Dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Parker St Project is open for Dinner Wednesday to Saturday and Lunch Thursday to Saturday.

Additional opening dates across the Christmas and New Year’s Eve period and public holidays such as Easter, ANZAC Day can be found here.

Can I bring my pet?

If you would like to bring your pet on your visit, please contact us on relax@royalmail.com.au to make your booking. Pet fee is $55 per stay.

Only our Mount Sturgeon One and Two bedroom cottages are pet friendly. Terms and conditions apply.

Do you offer transfers from the cottages when dining?

Yes, if you are staying in one of our Deluxe Mount Sturgeon One Bedroom Cottages, Mount Sturgeon Homestead or standard One or Two Bedroom cottages you can arrange a complimentary transfer to and from your dining experiences at Royal Mail Hotel during your stay. Our team will provide you with pick-up times on check-in.

What time is check-in?

Check-in time is 3pm. On Wednesday’s we can often accommodate an early check-in subject to availability. If you plan on arriving earlier please let our team know and we will do our best to get your room ready as priority however this is not guaranteed.

What time is check-out?

Check out time is 11 am. Late check-out is available on request at the rate of $20 per hour.

Which rooms are interconnecting?

Our Mountain View Rooms, Apartments and One & Two Bedroom Mount Sturgeon Cottages can all be made interconnecting on request, subject to room availability. Please email our reservations team on relax@royalmail.com.au for more information
