Kitchen Garden Tour

$20 per person
Morning Tour
10.00 am: Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Home to Australia’s largest working restaurant kitchen garden.

Conducted by the Royal Mail Hotel’s chefs and gardeners, the tour demonstrates the organic practices employed by the hotel and how the daily harvest influences the menus at both Parker St Project and Wickens.

The produce is grown organically, without the use of herbicides and pesticides. This method of farming means our produce is flavourful and just how nature intended it to be.

Contact reception for meeting points. Click the link below to see the kitchen garden location on google maps. Other times may be scheduled for groups dining at the hotel, with advance booking. Please note, there is not a lot of shade in the garden. A hat or sun umbrella, sunscreen and bottle of water is recommended. The tour involves walking and standing for extended periods.

“Our approach is a true expression of Dunkeld’s soil and seasons — flavour is cultivated on the land, and finessed in the kitchen.”
