WICKENS AT ROYAL MAIL HOTEL
Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel is a fine-dining experience, encompassing the four stories of the hotel – food, wine, people and place.
Food – Experience the inspired degustation menus, created by Executive Chef Robin Wickens. Each menu utilises the season’s available produce grown meters away in the hotel’s 1.2-hectare kitchen garden.
Wine – The world-class wine list showcases bottles from the impressive 28,000 bottle wine cellar. Three types of wine matches are led by our sommeliers – cellar, iconic Australian and French.
People – The kitchen is set like a stage, with all of the dining tables facing the kitchen and the team at work. If that is not close enough, located within the kitchen there is a Chef’s Table available for up to four people. Additionally, groups of up to 14 have access to the private dining room.
Place – Taking advantage of the spectacular views of the southern Gariwerd (Grampians National Park), the striking restaurant has floor to ceiling vistas overlooking Wurgarri (Mount Sturgeon) and Mud-Dadjug (Mount Abrupt). The restaurant was designed with ambience and local materials in mind.
You’ll be treated to an exceptional experience, no matter the available produce and menu. The menu below should be viewed as an indication only, as the kitchen garden dictates what ends up in the kitchen every day!
