Bach B Minor Mass

Saturday 14th March, Myers Library, Dunkeld

The Mass in B minor represents Bach at the height of his powers, synthesising his life’s musical experience into a timeless masterpiece that is a “greatest hits” of sacred choral writing.

It’s not just a piece of music—it’s a spiritual, emotional, and intellectual journey.

Great Romantic Voices

Saturday 13th June, Sterling Place, Dunkeld

In the hands of Romantics like Bruckner and Brahms, music became increasingly expressive, harmonically inventive, passionate, theatrical. In the twentieth century, composers like Herbert Howells, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Amy Beach and Samuel Barber resisted the atonality and serialism embraced by their contemporaries and continued to explore the rich extremes of lush harmony and sweeping melodies. These composers as a group – the voices of the Greater Romantic movement – provide us with a program that runs the gamut from emotionally-charged to blissfully peaceful.

Baroque Christmas 2026

Composers throughout history have pulled out all the stops to produce their most buoyant and engaging music for the Christmas season.

Parker St Project Lunch and Bach B Minor Mass Concert Package

Experience a three-course lunch at the Royal Mail’s Parker St Project before the concert at 3pm on 14th March, 2026

Inclusions:

  • Two-course lunch with sides in Parker St Project on Saturday
  • One ticket to the Australian Chamber Choir’s concert at Myers Library on Saturday at 3pm

ACC Subscriber price (concert ticket not included): $95 per person

Stay, Dine & Concert Package

Accommodation, Dining & Bach B Minor Mass Concert Package

Experience two nights’ accommodation at the Royal Mail Hotel in a Mountain View room, plus dining in both the Royal Mail Hotel restaurants.

Inclusions:

  • Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March accommodation in a Mountain View room
  • Degustation dinner in Wickens
  • Two course lunch in Parker St Project
  • Kitchen Garden tour
  • Two tickets to the Australian Chamber Choir’s concert on Saturday 14th at 3pm

Terms & Conditions

Please advise dietary requirements at the time of booking. Beverages are not included. Reservations are essential, full pre-payment is taken at the time of booking. Cancellations received with less than 7 days notice are non-refundable. Availability is limited, so we recommend you book without delay!

External guests

Reservations are now open for external guests via booking link above for tables of between four to six diners. Should your party be smaller than four people, please complete the waitlist form, and a member of our team will be in touch with you if a table becomes available.

Larger groups

Groups dining in Wickens, larger than six may book the private dining room, which seats up to 14 people. Please email relax@royalmail.com.au to enquire.

Groups dining in Parker St Project, larger than eight are welcomed with set menu dining.

Group accommodation enquiries are welcomed.
