Walks in the Gariwerd (Grampians)

Walking and hiking tracks within close proximity to the hotel include, Wugarri (Mount Sturgeon, 7km return), Mud-Dadjug (Mount Abrupt, 6.5km return) and Bainggug (Piccanniny, 2.4km return).  More walks are located in the northern end of Gariwerd including, the Pinnacle (4.2km return) and MacKenzie Falls (2km return). Dunkeld Arboretun

Dunkeld Arboretum

Enjoy the short stroll from the hotel to the Dunkeld Arboretum. This well-loved sanctuary has a walking track that meanders past magnificent red gums, a series of small lakes that are crossed by timber bridges and a small pier that provides views of the surrounding mountains. Grampians Peaks Trail

Grampians Peaks Trail is a world-class multi day walk currently being constructed in Gariwerd (Grampians National Park) connecting some of Gariwerd's most spectacular peaks. Stage One and Stage Two are now open and welcoming walkers. Offering natural beauty on a grand scale, self navigated or guided walking tours are available.
